The Müzekart - annual Museum Pass for Residence permit holders

The Muzekart is perfect for expats who love to explore the historical sites and museums across Turkey.
 
All popular sites run by the Ministry of Culture (across Turkey) including the Aya Sofya, Archaeological Museum, Chora Church, Mosaic Museum and Topkapı Palace, except the card.
 
Residence permit (ikamet ) holders can purchase either the Müzekart or Müzekart+.
 
The Muzekart is good value and gives users fast-track entry to historic sites. No need for queuing, you can simply go to the front and scan your card at the turnstiles.
 
What does each card offer?
 
Müzekart – This provides free access to museums and archaeological sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism over a period of one year.
Each Muzekart holder is limited to entering each site twice in a twelve-month period. The total cost is 30tl

Müzekart+ - This has unlimited access to over 300 museums and ancient sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism across Turkey over a period of one year. The card also offers discounts across a host of private museums. The total cost is 50tl

How to get the card

You’ll be glad to know that obtaining the Müzekart is an easy process:

You will need:
A Residence permit, Yabancı Kimlik No., Passport and a passport sized photo.

Cards can be purchased at any TURSAB run site at the ticket office.
 
Who can apply for the Müzekart?
 
Müzekart can be used by Turkish citizens, citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, foreigners with Turkish residence permits, foreign students enrolled in associate degree courses, bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs of higher education institutions in our country and students who are enrolled in universities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus affiliated with the Council of Higher Education (Turkey) provided that they present university identification cards.
