Fall (back) In Love With Istanbul

Istanbul is probably the city most people think of when they think of Turkey, but why is this city so beloved by people? Well there’s so many reasons that it’s impossible to mention them all but I’ll try and mention as many as I can.

So many people fall in love with Istanbul when they visit and when you look at all it as to offer it’s easy to see why.



The City Life


The 'Buzz' of Istanbul is hard to beat and Istanbul is one of the most dynamic and exotic cities in the world.


 


The People


Istanbul is literally the place where the east and west meet and you’ll find a very diverse range of people in Istanbul. So you’ll be able to experience new cultures and meet new people from all works of life.


Turkey is also a very family friendly place and the Turkish culture in particular is very family orientated so children will love it. There’s so much to see and do that families will never be bored and there’s activities to please everyone. From museums and galleries to amusement parks and much more.

The Food


The glorious range of culinary treats on offer in Istanbul will please anyone! From Istanbul’s famous streets food, to humble cafes and fine dining establishments. Istanbul will please any food lover and you’re bound to discover a new favourite food as you explore the delicious dishes.



Weather


Istanbul is famed for its glorious sunshine with July and August being the hottest months of the year and the average temperature being around 24°C or 74°F. The old myth about there being no rain isn’t true though with January and February being the most likely months to see rain, and they’re also the coldest months as well.



Nature


Mountains, (Karlik Dag, mountain peak near Kocadere, Istanbul – highest mountain in Istanbul)

Forests, beaches (BURC Beach located along the Black Sea coast, Dalia Beach, another favorite, is located on the Demircikoy cove.) and more the nature of Istanbul has something for everyone and offers some of them most spectacular views imaginable. The Bosphorus Strait goes through Istanbul and offers wondrous views and beautiful boat-trips and there’s also the golden horn river and a multitude of amazing nature parks and much more.

 


The Nightlife


Istanbul’s nightlife is an adventure all of its own, whether you want to relax and enjoy a meal and few drinks with friends and family in a relax setting or party it up with a live band. Istanbul’s nightlife offers a whole host of different bars, clubs and pubs that anyone will enjoy.  Head to these areas of Istanbul for Nightlife;

Shopping


The Gran Bazaar is in Istanbul need I say more?  Probably not but Istanbul really does spoil people when it comes to shopping there’s a huge variety of shopping malls in Istanbul that feature stalls of all kinds from big international chain stores, traditional Turkish shops, upmarket boutiques and much more.

Our choices of top malls include; ‘İstinye Park in Sarıyer’  ‘Zorlu Center in Beşiktaş’ ‘Astoria Alışveriş Merkezi on Büyükdere Cd in Esentepe’  and ‘Aqua Florya in Florya / Bakırköy’.
